Reliable and affordable ‘perfomance’ sedan
by Daniel B on 11/30/2024 12:25:49 PM
Owning the V6 base model, I have found that the 3800 is an amazing engine that happens to always be connected to mediocre cooling systems and transmission. The transmission issues even more noticeable with the V8. But with proper maintenance and some close watch to the coolant system, the car quickly becomes a comfortable sedan that sports some fun torque when needed. If ‘comfortably affordable and affordably comfortable’ was a car, it’d be this one. The 3800 V6 in these cars will almost always outlive everything else in them. - 5.0
Super Reliable
by Woody on 10/21/2024 3:17:09 PM
5 star car , had a 2004 grand prix ran for 305,200 miles. Still was running. Used less than a quart of oil in 3000 miles. No engine or transmission problems. Had to replace oil pan , rack and pinion , still had original plugs and wires. Car totalled in wreck. - 5.0
Very good vehicle
by Dpippin on 7/6/2024 9:01:58 PM
Over 15 years ownership and regular maintenance even some missed maintenance, 201k miles and still under 2400 in repairs. And still going strong. This car is one for you. 10/10 recommendation.
